Firetrap at Wesfield

I was asked by Firetrap to design a tote bag to be printed live and given away as part of Westfield Shopping centre's car boot fair.

My first design attempted to link the environmental advantages of tote-bags with Firetraps goth/rock image. I also wanted to make a point of the fact that the bag was ltd edition to a specific date and was hand screened for the customer. Firetrap wanted a space for the customer to personalise thir bag with their name.

Firetrap didn't think that an eco message was right for their brand identity, so I had a look at their website and came up with something else:

This design was deemed unsuitable for girls... And in the end Firetrap decided they wanted a simple message to promote their current campaign featuring a gnome called 'deadly':

Aah well. Sometimes the simplest, strongest solutions are what the client is looking for. We spent the afternoon at Westfield screening tote-bags, giving them away to happy punters and listening to really bad music. It was a good day.

MINISTRY OF SOUND E-FLYERS

I artworked up these E-flyers for Ministry of Sound. I've never been to Ministry of Sound but I met a bunch of Italian tourists who said it was great.

Lots of weather icons...

I created loads of icons for a weather app for iphone. 'HAZE' and 'DUST' are my favourites.

LBC Romance Logos

I created these logos for the LBC dating website. I liked the one with the lipstick mark, but in the end they went for the bigger one with the red type.

LBC Romance

I artworked up a dating website to fit in with the LBC radio brand. I'm told this is where all the hip young kids meet online.

Gold Romance

I artworked up the Gold Romance website. It's a dating website to run alongside the gold fm site. The thought of people finding true love on it gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling.

Ahead Of The Game: Packaging

I created these gnarly house-bags for UK label 'Ahead of The Game'. The label couldn't decide what logo to choose, so they ended up using all of them.

Scratch Perverts 'Beatdown'

I produced the packaging for The Scratch Perverts 'Beatdown' mix. It featured textured paper stock, spot UV, pantone spot colours, die-cut sleeve and a ridiculous five-panel CD gatefold!

Harmless Recordings: 'Watch The Ride'

I created these digipack's for Harmless Recordings fantastic 'Watch The Ride' mix series. Each release was on triple-panel gatefold digi with spot UV varnish and other special printing techniques.
