My first design attempted to link the environmental advantages of tote-bags with Firetraps goth/rock image. I also wanted to make a point of the fact that the bag was ltd edition to a specific date and was hand screened for the customer. Firetrap wanted a space for the customer to personalise thir bag with their name.
Firetrap didn't think that an eco message was right for their brand identity, so I had a look at their website and came up with something else:
This design was deemed unsuitable for girls... And in the end Firetrap decided they wanted a simple message to promote their current campaign featuring a gnome called 'deadly':

Aah well. Sometimes the simplest, strongest solutions are what the client is looking for. We spent the afternoon at Westfield screening tote-bags, giving them away to happy punters and listening to really bad music. It was a good day.
